Urban Cabin ♥♥♥
This modern twist on the traditional log cabin is unique in its color design and its size. Long and narrow, this quilt definitely thwarts the notion of a square quilt or a traditional bed size quilt. Great for an extra-long twin bed, this quilt is also the perfect couch throw- long enough to stretch under out-stretched legs. The colors stress the bright log cabin tradition on one half of the block and modern two-tone aesthetic on the other half. An oversized center square further pushes away traditional elements for modern flair.
Sunday, November 26, 11:00 – 5:00
Instructor: Stacia Lindahl
Fee: $35 + book

Twisty Twirly Scarf ♥♥

Lucy ♥♥
This is one of Stacia’s favorite piecing blocks; the 25-patch (second only to a 9-patch). Grab some fat quarters, scraps or yardage; use many colors, two colors in varying fabrics or simply two fabrics (plus your alternate block fabric) and join the fun! The alternate block can be plain, allowing for creative quilting, or a print that complements your 25-patch. This class is scheduled so close to the holidays because it is fun and easy. So don’t stress, just stitch!
Saturday, December 17, 10:30 – 4:30
Instructor: Stacia Lindahl
Fee: $35 + book
