Honeycomb ♥♥
No “Y” seams and a multi-dimensional hexagon using jelly roll strips – sign me up! The floating honeycomb of hexagons will be a conversation starter and only you need to know just how easy it was to put together by sewing strata and cutting with a slanted ruler. This fantastic quilt can easily be made larger by adding more blocks or a border.

Madame Butterfly ♥♥
This is a wonderful multi-piece block that creates a realistic butterfly. Make your butterflies all the same color by purchasing yardage or all unique by using charm squares. The triangle piecing is easily achieved using cut away corners, which increase your accuracy. This project could easily be embellished with embroidery, beads or buttons or perhaps make just one butterfly for an accent pillow. The choice is yours, but you will not be bored stitching this block together!

Kids Club! Pajama Party ♥♥
Be the envy of your summer sleepover with pajama pants that you have designed and a coordinating patchwork tote. The PJ pants, made Capri length or long, are cool and comfortable. In these four basic classes you learn firsthand what is involved in making a quilt. You will explore how to cut accurately, sew precisely and press properly, along with strip piecing, continuous sewing, binding and “sew” much more.

Class registration and refund policy:

Registration may be completed by phone with a credit card, by mail with a check or in person at A Quilted Heart. Most classes have a 72 hour no refund cancellation policy. There are both minimum and maximum class sizes. We recommend you sign up early to secure your place in the class. Also, be sure the minimum has been reached before you purchase your supplies, as classes not meeting the minimum may be cancelled. Due to sensitivities and allergies of others we ask that you help us keep our classroom free from environmental odors such as hair spray, perfumes or colognes. If you must smoke during breaks please do so away from the building and take care to prevent smoke from returning with you in your clothing or personal belongings. The classroom will be open 15 minutes prior to class time for students to come in and set up for class. As space is limited, no guests allowed.
