Wayne and Gordie ♥♥
This quilt is made with a scrappy assortment of nine patch blocks. It is set diagonally with alternating squares of a single background fabric. Only the top and bottom are finished with a border, lending an air of nostalgia. You don’t need to follow the traditional light and dark fabric placement in the nine patch blocks; the different fabrics need only have good contrast between them to be effective. This quilt is easily resized, so grab some yardage, fat quarters or scraps from you bin and start stitching the fun nine patch blocks.
